Everyday Photography
Description:
Advance your understanding and skills in photography through guided prompts, informational discussions, and photographic activities in this live, four-week workshop. Everyday Photography emphasizes the nature of picture-making and creating a sustainable photographic practice for everyday use - no matter what type of pictures you enjoy making!
During these four weeks, we will cover important foundational elements such as composition, portraiture, making pictures in various outdoor scenarios, and creating a sustainable workflow for your images.
This workshop is ideal for the photographer who already has a comfortable relationship with their digital SLR camera, would like to learn more about specific types of photography, and further develop their foundational skills to make more compelling and dynamic photographs.
Each class will include a balance of informational lectures and discussions, reflecting on each other’s work in a low-pressure safe space, and hands-on (optional) practical assignments. Additional PDF resources will be provided to participants as long-term reference materials.
